Our Champion Marcos Baghdatis after a series of seven challenges against the World's No. 1 and Top Tennis Player of the World, Roger Federer, playing excellent tennis and performing at his best, secured the important victory at the Indian Wells tournament in California, defeating the top player in 3 sets, 5-7, 7-5, 7-6!
A joyous Baghdatis, as many of the media around the world described our Champion, bent down and kissed the court, having closed out probably the best contest of his career.
