Our Champion Marcos Baghdatis continued his excellent performances for the Davis Cup Team, going into the court very determined and finishing the match easily, in 3 straight sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1.
Baghdatis who controlled the match from the beginning gave no chances to the Egyptian, Sherif Sabry, who was unable to react against the explosiveness and hard hitting from our Champion. Baghdatis continuing his upcoming top form of the past two months, showed differences in his strategy by playing more baselines shots with a high percentage, being more fit and moving around the court extremely quickly.
Baghdatis will now join our Champion Kallias for the tomorrow's doubles match at 4:00 pm.
